Fiat + Maserati = Abarth 695 Tributo Maserati

Have you ever wanted to own an exotic Italian car like a Ferrari, Maserati or Lamborghini but the prices always seemed too high?  Well, fear no more, as Fiat has collaborated with Maserati to produce the Abarth 695 Tributo Maserati (try saying that 5 times fast!)  The vehicle is based on the Fiat 500, but has increased power to 180 hp from the 1.4 liter engine, along with a unique interior.

The Abarth 695 Tributo Maserati will only come in convertible form, and the transmission is a paddle shifted manual gearbox.  The exterior features 17" wheels, a special paint color called Pontevecchio Bordeaux, and a specially designed exhaust system with tailpipes finished in the traditional Maserati hexagonal style.  The brakes have been upgraded with Brembo 4 piston calipers and 305 mm rotors.

Inside, there are leather enhancements, aluminum pedals, and carbon fiber trimmed kick plate.  There is also "695" stitched into the headrest and an upgraded audio system too.

Only 499 cars will be produced, and if the price is like the Ferrari version that came out a few years ago, we believe it will be around $37,000-40,000.  A lot of money for a Fiat 500, but think of the exclusivity plus it's part Maserati!

  1. If only the abarths had just a little more power, they are just a little weak.

    1. Thanks for your input! Agreed, they are a little low on horsepower compared to some of their rivals, but we've heard it's due to the torque capacity of the transmission. It can't hold very much torque before breaking so power output has to be limited for longevity's sake.
