San Diego Auto Show 2012 Coverage

Happy new year motorists and enthusiasts!  The new year has started, and the San Diego Auto Show has ended.  While nothing new was unveiled at the show, there was plenty to see.  The venue was very crowded too, with show goers, vendors, and manufacturers crowding the floor.  Click below to view the photos from the show!

Chevrolet's new Sonic.

The rear seats of the Volt could pass as the front seats of any sedan.

Hyundai displayed a heavily modified Veloster.

Hyundai's new flagship sedan, the Equus.

Graphical display in the Genesis Coupe.

Audi's R8 drew a large crowd of spectators.

Scion's new iQ is roughly the size of a Smart car with seating for 4 although we don't think you'd want to put anyone in the back!

Toyota displayed their new Prius V.  A wagon version of their popular hybrid.

Ford's new 2013 Mustang was on display.

2013 Mustang

It is easy to spot the new changes to the rear fascia and tail lights on the 2013 model.

It is easy to spot the differences on the rear for the upcoming Mustang compared to the outgoing one.

A clean 930 Turbo.

There were plenty of Porsches on display.

Porsche 904.

Back to the Future's star car the DMC DeLorean was one of many famous cars at the show.

K.I.T.T. from Knight Rider.

The Evora is the only Lotus currently available in the U.S.

Fisker's all electric luxury sedan.

Mercedes C63 AMG.

Will Mini's new SUV be a hit?

We hope this won't be the last of the M division's superb naturally aspirated powered M cars to be sold.

Cadillac CTS-V.

The new Beetle is definitely more aggressively styled than the previous iteration.

Kia's Optima seems to have some styling influence from Audi.

Nissan GT-R, supercar performance at a bargain.

Not really sure what to think of this convertible Murano.

Adam Carolla's Datsun 2000 Roadster.

The Chevrolet ZR-1.  It was cool to see the car on display in a different color from the usual dark blue or black GM displays the car with.
The view all others except the owner will have of the supercharged LS9 engine.

The ZR-1's carbon ceramic brake rotors are larger than the wheels on some vehicles!
The new SRT-8 300C looks very European in design from the front.

The 392 Charger will definitely be turning a few heads.

The Fiat 500 gets some much needed oomph in the Abarth trim with a 160hp turbocharged engine.

The Lexus IS-F.
