It's now September!?! Where did the summer go? It seems like the fun in the sun days went by in a flash. With fall coming up in just a couple weeks, there are a few shows here in Southern California that car enthusiasts can check out.

The second event is the Coronado Speed Festival. It's a celebration of vintage motorsports with most of the vehicles racing being pre-1972. The Playboy/MX-5 Spec Racing Series will also hold a race at the festival. It's great to see some door-to-door action up close and walk through the paddocks in between class races. The last event we wanted to discuss is the Japanese Classic Car Show, a car show geared towards enthusiasts of classic and neo-classic Japanese vehicles.
